B.J. Lange

Owner
Professional Inspector TREC #20796
- Commercial Certified Applicator
TDA #0672502
A little about myself. I'm originally from Fredericksburg, TX and a 2005 graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Management Specialist in the areas of Mason, Kerrville, Athens, Fredericksburg, and Boerne. I have always had great respect for the land, what it provides, and knowing how to use it in a conservative way so that it can keep on giving for our future generations. One of the most important blessings land can give us is a place to build a home.

The Importance of a Home Inspection
In 2008, I bought my first home, and in 2009, I met the love of my life, April, at Luckenbach. A year later, we got married and moved to San Angelo to work in the oil and gas industry. While in San Angelo, we bought a new home. Although I knew much about the land and the soil underneath our house, it did not occur to me how much knowledge I lacked about the integrity of the home.

After moving into our new home and discovering many defects, we were amazed that a builder could cut so many corners that the home inspector failed to note some important defects, like windows that did not open, improper ventilation and missing insulation. We had worked hard to save so that we could invest in this home, which ended up costing us even more precious time and money to repair.

My Experience
Our story and countless other similar ones fueled my pursuit to become a professional home inspector in 2013.  My wife and I returned to my roots in the Texas hill country and I completed over 448 hours of instruction and earned 13 certifications as a Commercial Structural Certified Applicator licensed to do termite inspections through the Texas Department of agriculture.  Along with prior experience with home remodeling/repair/construction/etc., I have done thousands of home inspections since our company's inception.  I personally have trained each of our inspectors riding side-by-side with them for two months and then reveiwing every one of their reports for 6 months until I felt and they felt they were ready.  I am proud to say we have a fantastic team and we are growing thanks to prior client and agent referrals that trust us to take care of their needs and we hope to be able to do the same for you!
